Red Bee Media Australia Pty Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Bee Media Limited. At our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, we specialise in creating and providing live and prerecorded closed captions (subtitles) for major Australian broadcast networks such as the Nine Network, Seven Network, Network Ten and SBS. We also supply captioning for major advertisers and their agencies, video and DVD distributors, subscription television channels and conferences in Australia and overseas, as well as language translation services in all media and live remote transcriptions of university lectures and business meetings.

Our captioning heritage

Red Bee Media’s London office provides more than 50,000 hours of captioning (subtitles) per year, with customers including the BBC, Channel 4 and National Geographic Channel. Our other Access Services also include Signing and Audio Description.

The Australian Caption Centre (ACC) began life in 1982 as a not-for-profit company. Red Bee Media purchased the ACC in 2006, which changed name to Red Bee Media Australia in 2007.
